Clinical Interests

Corrective Exercise, Functional Strength, Weight Management, Posture and Joint Function, Balance and Coordination, Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation.
Brian’s training approach focuses on teaching the body how to learn and integrate movement patterns for optimal performance results. His specialty is joint mobility and enhancing movement efficiency in exercise, which allows an overall greater output on behalf of the client; and more potential for positive change. He emphasizes new skill development and making the body smarter through exercise, so training expands outside the arena of the gym and into everyday life.

Personal Interests

For the past twenty years Brian has been practicing martial arts; he also enjoys playing golf, biking, kayaking, and exploring the great outdoors. In addition to being a personal trainer, Brian works as a consultant to Tufts Medical School, where he’s involved in “mind-body” research in the Department of Rheumatology. He works with patients with fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and various other conditions.
